A Plea to the Church (Part 2) (Philippians 4:1-3)

Stephen Weaver, March 9, 2014
Part of the Philippians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

This Sunday in our series in the book of Philippians; we will be looking at chapter 4:1-3. In this passage Paul gives a very personal plea to this church in Philippi and encourages them (his good friends) to stand fast. He also encourages unity in the church by addressing a specific problem between 2 prominent women in the church. The lesson for us is the importance to get along and have unity within the church body, and to humbly solve disagreements with the help of others in the church, if necessary.
