In this passage we have more tragic news, Israel’s sons names, and the death of Isaac being 180 years old.
What can we learn from this passage that presents us with informational facts? Well through the terrible sin of Reuben we can learn a great deal about the problems of sin. Why did Reuben do such a terrible thing to his father? Why do people sin? Sin is the great problem of our lives, culture, country and world. How do we overcome such a difficult thing? I believe we can talk through a number of answers that will be helpful in our daily battle with sin, and how we can truly have victory over sin.
