Ask For Wisdom (James 1:5-8)

Stephen Weaver, November 20, 2011
Part of the James series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

This Sunday morning we continue our series in our verse by verse study in the epistle of James. We will be in chapter 1, verses 5-8. We continue the subject of trials that James has been addressing to these scattered, struggling Jewish believers. Now when it comes to God, whom we know can help; He can give us numerous reasons to “count it all joy.”

Now in all this, what should we ask God for? The thing we should ask for is very interesting that we see in verse 5 and following in our text. Have you thought of doing this in problems? And to be sure to do it in faith? So what should we ask for? More on this topic wisdom Sunday morning. . .
