Recognizing Needs (John 6:22-40)

This Sunday morning, we continue our series in the gospel of John. We will be looking at chapter 6 verses 22-40. In this passage Jesus confronts the crowds on their spiritual needs. All they can think about and want fulfilled is their physical needs, mainly food. So Jesus tells them “you only seek Me because you ate the food and were filled; now you just want more.” They totally miss their spiritual need even though that is what Jesus is trying to give to them. He says in verse 37 “…him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.” We all have physical needs – and we deal with them all the time. But what about spiritual needs?
