Part of the Exodus series, preached at a Sunday Evening service

On Sunday evening, we continue our series in the book of Exodus, looking at chapter 20 verse 18-26. After the 10 commandments, God is using the people’s experience at the mount as a teachable moment. With the peoples fear of God’s voice and the thundering and lightnings and trumpet; they ask for a mediator for fear they will perish before the Lord. The results of this is a teachable moment about obeying God’s law, and instructions about proper sacrifices and worship. More on this Sunday evening…
