Jacob's Death & Burial (Genesis 50:1-14)

This Sunday, Father’s day we will be studying Genesis 49 and the 1st 14 verses of chapter 50. Here we have the last words death and burial of a father, Jacob as all his sons and families are with him. He pronounces words, prophetic words on each son, and then pronounces his last will before “being gathered unto his people” (goes into eternity). As we look at Jacobs words and burial what can we learn on this Father’s day? What do we see about proper life and death planning? What do we see in the future predictions for the tribes of Israel?
