Don't Worry, But Pray! (Part 2) (Philippians 4:6-7)

Stephen Weaver, April 13, 2014
Part of the Philippians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

This Sunday we will be looking (for a second week) at Philippians 4:6-7 and the next imperative (command) to not worry. Paul also gives what we should be doing in the place of worry, and the results of taking our petitions to the Lord. Learning not to worry has to be one of the most difficult things we do in our Christian life. The passage tells us to pray and present our requests to the Lord. Many come to this
passage and ask: what good would it do to pray? How can that help? Some practical
helps this Sunday morning…
