Walking in the Light (1 John 1:5-7)

This Sunday as we continue our series on the epistle of first John; our study leads us to verses 5-7 of chapter 1. Here John makes a profound theological statement rarely found throughout Scripture. He tells his listeners (readers) that God is light! The rest of the verses in chapter 1 are some “If we,” “then” clauses that come out of the fact that God is light. We will examine these in the next 2 messages. This week we are looking at the fact that God is light and what that means, and the fact that we need to be truthful about our walk.
