This Sunday we continue our series in the book of 1 John. We begin chapter 3 looking at verse 1. John continues his thoughts in the previous verses about the confidence of assurance, and the believers standing in Christ with the challenge to abide in Him. Now here John is overwhelmed by God’s love that gives us adoption in the new birth through faith in Christ alone. Behold what manner of love…! Do we really understand the love of God?
