John, and the Story of Passion Week (John 20:8)

This Sunday, Resurrection Sunday, we will do something different in our morning message. I’ve was thinking it would be helpful to go through the events of Passion Week. To make it more interesting we will be told the story of Passion Week by one of the disciples, John. I will tell the story through him and the emotions he experienced during that infamous week of Jesus death, burial and resurrection. And when we come to the part where Jesus institutes the Lord ’s Supper at the Last Supper; we will partake of communion ourselves, after which we will continue the message and story through to the resurrection of Christ from the grave. Our text will be John 20:8, which is John’s response to the rising of Christ from the dead.
