This Sunday morning and next Sunday morning we will do messages on Matthew 1 for Christmas. There we will talk about Jesus, King of kings from 1:1-17, and “Character in the Christmas story” from verses 18-25. The history of how Jesus took on our flesh and became a man is significant in how our redemption came about. Jesus Christ became us to die for us, the perfect lamb who took our punishment so that we could be saved from our sins, and can spend an eternity with God in heaven.
