The End of the Persevering One (James 1:9-12)

Stephen Weaver, December 4, 2011
Part of the James series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

This Sunday morning as we continue our series in our verse by verse study in the epistle of James we look at chapter 1, verses 9-12. We will review what we have learned about trials, and look at instruction that is given to all economic levels. To the poor, rejoice you are rich in the Lord. To the rich your money does not matter in your relationship with God. Riches do not matter in light of eternity; they will pass away. James then sums up the first 11 verses with the end of trials. The one who endures will receive a reward. It truly will be worth it all when we see Jesus! More on this Sunday morning. . .
