This Sunday we continue a series of messages based on our theme for 2018: “Deliberate Discipleship 2018, Who Will You Reach?” Our message this Sunday is from 2 Corinthians 5:17-20; and our subject will be “God’s Ministry of Reconciliation.”
Paul, in this passage, talks about the ministry of reconciliation that God provides to all mankind. We are to be reconciled to God; which He alone provides. Mankind is to simply accept the work of reconciliation that God has already provided. Now we (believers) as reconciled, need to announce to others about God’s desire for them to accept the reconciliation. In this we, as the passage states, are to be ambassadors for Christ; to do the work of reaching those without Christ and disciple them. More on this Sunday morning…
