Just Toss Me Overboard (Jonah 1:11-12)
Stephen Weaver, June 17, 2018Part of the Jonah series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
This Sunday morning, we will continue our new series on the short book of Jonah. We will be looking at chapter 1 verses 11-12. Here we learn about being at the crossroads of life’s decisions. Jonah is put in that place now on this ship during the storm. The sailors now understand why they are in the predicament they’re in and ask a simple question of Jonah. What do we do to you to stop the sea from raging? Does Jonah have no other choices but one? I submit to you he has another choice; one he does not have the courage to make. But wait, he does not even have the courage to follow through with the decision he does make. More on this Sunday morning…
