If God Wills (James 4:13-15)

Stephen Weaver, June 17, 2012
Part of the James series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

This Sunday we will be studying James chapter 4:13-15. In this passage James shifts to another important topic talking especially to Christian merchants. The problem of presumptive planning would be a problem with those involved in business then, as much as it would be now. Are not all Christians guilty of making plans without the Lord? We go all about our busy lives laying out plans and working those plans without a thought of God’s will. Have we even considered this problem? James in this passage challenges these merchants casual arrogance in their plans, and tells them to be careful about this. We need to be careful about this. More on this Sunday morning…
