This Sunday and on the 28th I want to do a 2 part message on the local church. Do Christians really understand the importance and significance of Christ’s church and its power in the world and over believers? The authority of the church comes from Jesus Himself, and He requires that ALL believers be subject to their local church and represent their local church. We will answer the questions: what is the local church? What is membership?
And then in the 2nd message answer: What does the church do? What about its leaders? How do members represent Jesus? We need to really think about the New Testament definition of the local church. More on these Sunday morning…
